Client
A multi-market, multi-category manufacturing organization with a large portfolio of factories undergoing digital transformation.
Challenge
The organization had no consistent way to determine where digital applications should be deployed. Each factory used different processes, documentation, terminology, and assumptions, which led to stalled deployments, rework, and subjective prioritization.
Without a standardized evaluation model, digital projects were being pushed into factories that could not sustain them.
Approach
Frame and Flight designed a global Readiness Diagnostic that establishes a single evaluation model for every factory. The diagnostic assesses digital enablement factors across people, process, data, and technology and identifies the constraints that must be removed before deployment.
The diagnostic became the “front door” for all digital initiatives, ensuring investments are based on data, not opinion.
Results
- Visibility into which factories are positioned to adopt digital applications successfully
- Prioritization based on objective criteria rather than internal advocacy
- Investment confidence and sequencing clarity
- Improved transformation efficiency across markets and categories
Outcome
The Readiness Diagnostic created a global standard for digital adoption and prioritization. Instead of deploying technology and hoping it sticks, the organization now deploys with intent, sequencing digital transformation based on data, capability, and value.
